BULGARCOOP-IMPORT-EXPORT LTD
History
BULGARCOOP-IMPORT-EXPORT LTD is a company of the Central Cooperative Union of Consumer Cooperatives in Bulgaria. It is the successor to the Foreign trade organization “BULGARCOOP”, established in the beginning of 1961 with the purpose of exporting part of the production produced or bought by the cooperatives – herbs, mushrooms, bee products, technical seeds, fruits and vegetables. The main activity of the company continues to be the realization of agricultural production, with over 85% of the volume being destined for export.
The main items in the nomenclature of the company are:
Oilseeds
Medical plants and spices
Fresh and processed fruits and vegetables, frozen and dried wild mushrooms
The share of organic certified products is about 20%, with a trend of growth in the coming years.
It is expected by the end of 2019 to expand the nomenclature of commodities with essential and cold-pressed oils.
